Creating Google Advertising Campaign

Once you are in your account, you will need to specify a credit card for Google to use in order to bill you. Here’s how to do this.

1, Click on the “My Account” tab located near the top of the Google Account webpage.

2, Once you are there, you will notice the following near the top of the page in your Google Account.

Click on the “Billing Preferences” link near the top of the page. This will take you to the appropriate location where you need to enter your credit card information.

You will be charged a $5.00 activation fee, but don’t worry this is not a lot at all. Most other search charge you much more than this. After you enter your credit card and personal information your account will be activated.

Now that you have an account set up, you are ready to learn how to create a perfect campaign so you can begin making money online. But first you will need to learn how to navigate your Google AdWords Account.

Creating A New Campaign & AdGroup:
Setting up a new campaign with Google is fairly easy and your advertisement will literally go live within 5-10 minutes after you complete it. This is nearly a day faster than most of the other search engines, although Yahoo is catching up.
The first thing you’ll need to do is click on the link titled “Keyword-Targeted” on your main adwords campaign management page.

Setting Up basic Information for your Campaign and AdGroup:
You will now be taken to a new page where it will ask you to name your campaign and adgroup. Even though your campaign and adgroup name doesn’t affect your account performance at all, you will still want to name them appropriately to help organize your account.

Normally you create one campaign for each different product or website you advertise. To help you out in this area I have grouped all of similar keywords together and have named each group of keywords. You should create one Google campaign to held all of your keywords. Inside that Google campaign you will create a new google adgroup for each group of keywords.

When you finish naming your campaign and adgroup, you should select what language you want your ads to be displayed in. I recommend you choose the main language that the people speak in the countries you plan to advertise in.

After you select your language you should select where you want your ads to be displayed. You can either choose “Countries or territories” to display your ads to specific countries ( I recommend choosing this item ), you can choose “Regions or cities” to display your ads to specific cities, or you can customize it which will display your advertisements within a parameter of a location you specify.

When you finish click on the “Continue” button at the bottom of the page.
