How to get indexed by Google, Google index
GETTING YOUR SITE INDEXED
The first thing we need to do is make sure Google knows about our website and starts indexing the pages. This step is usually only relevant for new websites, since most websites will get discovered by Google eventually, even if you don’t do anything.
This indexation step is simply to ensure that your site is found and indexed quickly, if it’s new.
If you’re wondering how you can find out whether Google has indexed your site yet or not, it’s very simple; just go to Google and do the following search: site: yoursite.com or site:http://yoursite.com
If you get a few pages from your site listed in the results, your site is indexed and you can move on to the next step. If no results are returned, Google has not yet indexed your site. If you want to index your site content to google search result click here and using Google webmaster tool.
IM TALK WEBSITE SUBMITTER
The tool we’re going to be using for the indexation step is provided by the IM Talk Forums. The first thing you need to do is simply register as a member. After that, you can make use of their awesome free tools.
Next, go to the IM Talk Website Submitter and enter:
? Your sites root URL (i.e. your homepage URL)
? Your main keyword
? Select the top 100 or 250 sites as a limit
Then, click the submit button and just let it run in your browser. What this tool will do is submit your site to various stats- and traffic-estimation websites. From these sites, you’ll sometimes also get a backlink.
You can’t expect these links to actually help you in terms of rankings, but getting your site out there and mentioned on 100+ sites will get it indexed very quickly. Going for more than 250 submissions is excessive, so I suggest you stick with that as a reasonable upper limit.
Done! That’s all it takes to get a site indexed.
